I want to acknowledge that I collaborate, practice, heal, work, and live in the ancestral territories of the Duwamish, Suquamish, Muckleshoot, and Snoqualmie peoples, as well as many other Coast Salish nations and the Kanaka Maoli Peoples of Hawai’i. These Indigenous communities have lived in and stewarded these lands, waters, and air for thousands of years despite ongoing injustices and struggles. I commit to standing in solidarity with Indigenous and communities of culture, acknowledging the violence of colonization and supporting efforts to restore cultural practices, language, and sovereignty.

May the space we share offer reflection, restoration, and contribute to the collective freedom and healing for all.
